Vegas Around the Mountains 300 mi Tour October 15 & 16 2005 Saturday & Sunday Jean to Armagosa Valley This ride will be a loop around the Charleston Mountains of Las Vegas, and a stay overnight at the Longstreet. This ride will overlook the Famous NUKE test site “Mercury”, Indian Springs AFB and the Protected Devils Hole Pupfish. We need to ride these areas as soon as possible as urban growth is closing in. Reservations must be made by October 1st due to limited space at the Longstreet Casino. 60 rider limit. Ride starts and ends in Jean Nevada Landing Casino. Buffet provided at the Longstreet Saturday night rider meeting.
Vegas to the border (not scheduled) One of out rides will be a loop around the south side of Las Vegas to the border. We need to ride this area as soon as possible as urban growth is closing in. Motorcycle riding is always sacrificed for growth. A new airport is imposing on this area. Don't miss out.
North rim Grand Canyon (not scheduled) We have rides planned to the North rim of the Grand Canyon. The North rim is an RV friendly area. The elevations are over 7,000 ft so snow is on the ground in the winter.
Prim and Mojave Preserve (not scheduled) 2 days out of Prim Prim around Clark Mountain over I15 in Mountain Pass. Gold Mines and familiar things.
Silverton to Nelson (not scheduled) One day 109mi loop to gold mine tour in Nelson through Lake Meade Nat Recreation area |
